The Zug Flames Hockey Club was formed in 1997. Our home rink is the Herti
Training Hall in Zug.
The ZFHC is open to men and women who want to play ice hockey in a friendly,
physical environment. Club membership is limited to 40 players; however because
of family and work commitments, we usually have between 16 and 22 players
for our trainings.
The ZFHC is
currently made up of people from 6 different nations. Although the
official language is English, German, French and Swedish are also commonly
spoken.
Our practices are on Thursday nights from 21:30 - 23:00.
Annual dues are SFr 400.-. Membership is limited to 40 active players.
Players
are required to wear proper ice hockey equipment including helmets.
Helmets with a visor or a full cage are strongly recommended. There is no
sport worth losing your eyesight and we all have to go to work in the morning.
Each
player is responsible for his own insurance. The ZFHC will not accept any
responsibility for injuries.
